This is southern Rhône Syrah turned up a notch — dark, spicy and silky, with real depth. La Sommelière is all black cherry, cracked pepper and smoky herbs, with soft tannins and a savoury, almost meaty finish. It’s generous without being heavy, full of Mediterranean warmth but with just enough edge to keep it refined.

Ideal with roast lamb, grilled sausages, or a rich veggie stew. Best enjoyed when the lights are low and dinner’s had time to simmer — this one’s got stories to tell.
