Duncan Says: A superb, stylish red from one of Australia's most premium regions
Tasting Notes: Polished and opulent, with juicy cassis and subtle spicy, toasty oak, supple tannins and savoury overtones.
Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon
Best Enjoyed: Fabulous with grilled red meat or a hearty stew.
Good to Know: Named after the mysterious, idyllic paradise in Samuel Coleridge’s
poem 'Kubla Khan', the estate was established by Irishman Dr John Lagan, who arrived in Margaret River in 1968 and planted his first vines in 1977. Winemaker Glenn Goodall joined in 1999, and was awarded Halliday's 'Best Winemaker of the Year Australia 2023'.
