Saffron Grange Classic Cuvée 2019

From Saffron Walden comes this fabulous traditional method wine, that has been aged for 30 months on its yeast lees. It's delicious and complex, with a nose packed with red apple, red berries and creamy brioche balanced with a palate of vibrant grapefruit, soft stone fruit and a hint of honey. With a streak of flint minerality coming through, this wine has an elegant finish. You can buy it here.

Gusbourne Brut Reserve 2019

This classic Champagne-style beauty hails from Ashford, and is carefully fermented in both stainless steel tanks and old oaks barrels for extra complexity. The bouquet highlights aromas of cherry and strawberry, developing into attractive fresh pastry notes with a touch of cinnamon. The palate is clean and fresh whilst giving tones of bright citrus and soft stone fruit and a refreshing finish. You can buy it here.

Ridgeview 'Bloomsbury' NV

Over to Sussex, where Ridgeview has been a pioneer of sustainable English sparkling winemaking since 1995. Bloomsbury is a Champagne-style blend of carefully selected recent vintages and reserve wines. It's fresh and fruit-driven, with elegant aromas of creamy lemon zest and white peach, gently balanced by honeyed autolysis, mouthwatering acidity and a persistent mousse.

Lyme Bay Winery NV Brut Rosé

Completing our tour of southern England's finest winemaking regions, we land in glorious Devon to sample Lyme Bay's traditional method, 100% Pinot Noir sparkling rosé. Fabulously fruit-driven, with wild strawberries, redcurrant and pepper on the nose, it's brought into balance with honey richness and hints of brioche and almond on the palate. A real delight.
