Carignan 'No es Pituko', Chile

We start with a fabulous natural wine from Viña Echeverría, from vines in the Valle de Maule region. 'No es Pituko' is Chilean slang for 'it ain't fancy', reflecting how this 100% Carignan was vinified naturally, without any additions at any stage, and has expressive notes of rich plum and ripe black fruits accompanied by subtle spicy notes of cinnamon with a touch of star anise. A fresh palate with fine tannins and subtle earthy tones.

Kratoshija, Republic of North Macedonia

The Tikveš Winery is – perhaps unsurprisingly – a leading producer in the Tikveš region, and has been since 1885. Kratoshija is a native grape which shares a genetic lineage with the Italian Primitivo varietal, and here provides bright aromas of redcurrants, cherries and red berries, leading to a textured and mouth-filling palate with vibrant, fruit-forward flavours and a deliciously satisfying finish.

Pinot Noir 'El Compadre', Chile

Returning to Viña Echeverría, a family-run estate combining nearly a century of viticulture and winemaking experience with a modern, state-of-the-art winery. This Pinot Noir is from a volcanic Valle de Malleco vineyard, and is silky and smooth, made with low intervention to express fully its notes of spiced cherry, blueberry, hibiscus and violets. Beautifully balanced with an elegant finish.

Beaujolais 'L'Héritière', France

Established as recently as 2018, La Famille K is a small, family-run winery in the heart of Beaujolaiscertified sustainable by Terra Vitis. This delicious, light, old-vine Gamay is fruity, fruity and fruity! Crammed with raspberry, strawberry and morello cherry character, it's ideal for serving slightly chilled and is a versatile food wine.
