Cabriz Espumante Bruto, Portugal

Your new favourite fizz! This super sparkling wine from a hugely exciting Dão producer, Quinta de Cabriz, is made with the Champagne method, but with all indigenous Portuguese grape varieties. It's full of fleshy white fruit, citrus, biscuit and warm toasted cereals. Fruity, fresh, balanced and crystalline, with a crunchy finish and a captivating mousse, this is a real showcase of the quality and value of Portuguese sparkling wine.

Château de Campuget 'Le Campuget' Blanc, France

From an historic château dating back to 1753 in the heart of the Costières de Nîmes in Languedoc comes this fabulous blend of Grenache Blanc and Viognier. It's a refreshingly crisp wine with inviting aromas of fresh peach, leading to a vibrant palate of grapefruit and pear and a delicate hint of spice on the finish.

Tikveš Kratoshija, North Macedonia

The Tikveš Winery is – perhaps unsurprisingly – a leading producer in the Tikveš region, and has been since 1885. Kratoshija is a native grape which shares a genetic lineage with the Italian Primitivo varietal, and here provides bright aromas of redcurrants, cherries and red berries, leading to a textured and mouth-filling palate with vibrant, fruit-forward flavours and a deliciously satisfying finish.

Cabriz 'Vinha Maria' Reserva Red, Portugal

The lovely Quinta de Cabriz are at it again, showcasing the (too often underrated) quality of Portuguese red wine this time. The Vinha Maria Reserva offers intense dark fruit confit on the nose, balsamic with hints of caramelised onion and beetroot. It's rich, fruity and elegant, with warm spice and harmonious finesse. Another characterful Portuguese wine delivering great bang for your buck.
