Tasting Notes: Delicious and captivating, just like a mature Brunello di Montalcino, with sun-baked, developed aromas of red berries, dried fruit and leather.

Good to Know: Each year, when Cupano come to bottling their next Brunello vintage release, they taste each barrel to decide on which ones will make the final blend. Some barrels do not feel ready at the time, but might be excellent, so they get left aside. To avoid disrupting the estate's vintage releases, this has now become a sort of upmarket 'vin de copains' - wine for friends. This is its 5th release, a blend of vintages 2018 and 2019.
