Duncan Says: I’ve heard of this cuvée being compared to Puligny in the past. An outstanding wine, keenly priced.

Tasting Notes: Creamy white butter and elegant white flower and bright nectarine, white peach, vanilla and citrus on the nose. A nice amount of delicate wood spice.

Grape: Chardonnay

Best Enjoyed: Lovely with roast chicken or monkfish.

Good to Know: From a vineyard considered one of the warmest and best-situated in the village, the '18 Sous Le Château is about as textbook and beautiful a white Burgundy as one is likely to find for the price these days.
