Tasting Notes: Opulent yet silky, with deep fruity aromas enhanced by notes of Sarsaparilla and red rose. Fine supple tannins and a hint of oak lead to a rich finish.

Best Enjoyed: Fabulous with a good moussaka.

Good to Know: Nestled in a natural amphitheatre, the vines are planted at an elevation of 380 metres above sea level, where cooling breezes from the ocean less than 18 kilometres away influences the microclimate. It is a rocky site, which suits this very vigorous variety as the site has very little top soil, slowing down the vigour.
