Tasting Notes: Zesty citrus fruit and lightly floral characters, with hints of apple and pear. Fresh, steely acidity and underlying mineral characters, balanced by notes of melon and stone fruit.

Grape: Cortese

Best Enjoyed: A lovely wine to enjoy on its own or with grilled fish.

Good to know: Cortese grapes for Gavi are grown all over Piedmont, but the vineyards surrounding Gavi itself are considered the best.
