Merlot ‘1300’ , Andeluna, Uco Valley, Argentina

£14.00

Duncan Says: All the intense fruit concentration you’d expect from Mendoza Valley, but with the smooth and drinkable fun or a good Merlot.

Tasting Notes: A vibrant Merlot with aromas of Morello cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry layered with hints of spicy nutmeg and aromatic herbs. Smooth on the palate with a soft texture and a long, fine finish.

Grapes: Merlot

Best Enjoyed: Lovely wine for catching up with Friends, but also great with moussaka or a pasta bake

Good to Know: Founded in 2003, Andeluna produces premium mountain wines from their 70-hectare vineyard situated at an elevation of 1,300 metres in the rocky terroir of Gualtallary, Tupungato in the Uco Valley, Mendoza.
