“Eight Uncles” Shiraz, Fox Gordon, Adelaide Hills, Australia

Duncan Says: All the deep, brooding qualities of Aussie Shiraz, but without the jamminess.

Tasting Notes: Elegant and restrained this wine delivers aromas of spice, leather, bramble and brooding dark fruits with charming complexity.

Grape: Shiraz

Best Enjoyed: Lovely with roast meats like a good Sunday Roast.

Good to Know: The wine was fermented for over 10 days in stainless steel, blended and racked to French oak for 12 to 15 months (80% old French 300 litre hog’s head barrels, 20% new French 500 litre puncheons).
