Château Cissac, Cru Bourgeois, Haut-Médoc, Bordeaux, France

Duncan Says: A classic and affordable Bordeaux, what more could you ask for.

Tasting Notes: Classic and elegant Cru Bourgeois showing dark chocolate and beautifully balanced cedar notes and with a fine, long finish.

Grapes: Cab Sauv, Merlot, Petite Verdot

Best Enjoyed: Lovely with a classic Sunday Roast.

Good to Know: The vines of Château Cissac are situated on a plateau with a soil composed of gravel deposits from the Garonne river from the Bunz-Mindel period, over chalk. It is located at an altitude of 27.5 metres above sea level, equivalent to the highest points of the neighbouring appellations.
